Trundler27 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 So after a brief time during the early 2000s where we actually started competing overseas (outside the sub-continent) it clearly looks like we are firmly back to where our team stood in the early 90s when most overseas tours could be penciled in as massive defeats or even whitewashes!! With our management and leadership I can confidently say that the following tours outside the sub-continent will result in massive hammerings for our team in the near future too if they were to happen: Australia - high chance of a sweep England - We all just saw what happened and it will easily be repeated as long as they have Anderson and Broad leading the attack (which will be a good 4-5 years) South Africa - We might compete for maybe 1 test but overall we will be easily overcome New Zealand - Even though their team is pretty weak, over a 3 test series a loss is a most likely result So that means, we can only hope of doing well in West Indies :yay:
King Tendulkar Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Shocking times, back to our darkest days Yet captain is hero apparently
Marut Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Pathetic. I stopped watching cricket for a while.
vamos_rafa Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 In the early 90's atleast there was Sachin who was scoring and giving us a glimmer of hope ki bhaiya all izz well.
