undisputed chap Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 In view of recent Pinki Pramanik case should the law change its definitionof rape. According to current defination only a man can commit rape.
undisputed chap Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 I think they should be tried for it. In most cases rape is more as a result of need to potray a sense of superiorty. According to recent changes in definition except from the part which implies a woman cant commit rape, there's nothing to suggest a woman cant do it. Also i think the victims modesty is more important then adhering to some old principles.

undisputed chap Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 isnt it kinda hard for her to do it biologically speaking?? Why? Read new defination of rape given by S.C. Except the ' man/ he should ' part most of them are applicable to both sexes.
AmreekanDesi Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Why? Read new defination of rape given by S.C. Except the ' man/ he should ' part most of them are applicable to both sexes. dont wanna get into semantics but if a man is not hard then its not possible to rape? And he wont be if he;s not into it. Rape is different from sexual assault.
CSK Fan Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I agree with UC. Rape can be any kind of penetration, not just penile. So a woman can rape. And there have been instances (very few) where woman have raped men and young boys

A lot of such cases are based on blackmailing or due to drugging the victim or if victim considers her close ones may be put in harms way if she doesnt comply.
