If yes, then do you ever get into arguments with them about issues like politics, religion, Kashmir conflict?I am Pakistani and in my social interaction with Indian friends, the unsaid rule was that heated arguments about religion or Pakistan India conflict should be avoided. In a professional work environment it is expected of employees anyway. But we would talk about other things and interests like cricket, Bollywood, food and finding good desi restaurants etc.Also at times of rising tensions and conflict between india and pakistan such as kargil (1999), military standoff (2002) and Mumbai attacks (2008) Does it have an impact on your friendship with them?

I don't know about others but i don't spend my time thinking about kashmir and nor do i discuss kashmir even with my indian freinds so the question of discussing the same with pakistanis doesn't even arise. Besides what is the point of discussing.? Indians believe kashmir is an integral part of india and pakistanis believe the opposite. And the rest we all know what the militants are doing and also that the indian army has comitted excesses. It is catch 22 situation really. For kashmir to return to normal army needs to leave which it can't as long as there are militants and who are supported by pakistan. Both sides won't budge. I am going off topic. The answer to your question no it has not impacted friendship when mumbai attacks happened. When you are working together u can't afford not to speak.
