novpj
Hayden's let off could be costly and that begs a question - is Kumble the right fielder for Gully position? He is tall which is good for the high cut shots but doesnt seem agile to get down for low catches. With Yuvi best at point we really need a good gully fielder. IMO we could be better off with Dravid or VVS at gully (specially when the ball gets older and we dont have 3 slip fielders). Kumble probably is best at midoff or midon so that he can be talking to the bowlers and also so that we have our better fielders behind the wickets. Link to comment

Guest Hiten.
UV should be in Gully region due to his athleticism Link to comment
Ram
I would like to think Kumble is a decent fielder at Gully. I havent seen him drop that many catches, tbh. Besides, he is athletic enough to be running around near the boundary and worse, he is now 37. Link to comment
