Congress "president" (actually dictator)--madam Manio should resign....and there should be an internal election to elect new leader. It's sickening to see that our nations ruling party is continuing it's old and failed "Nehruvian" legacy of being Dynasty based and Zero internal democracy. The hypocrisy of Kaangressi leaders is amazing -- Win an election -- all credit to Madam Sonia. Loose election after election --- due to local leaders in-efficiency....in any case Madam Manio is above all party rules and morale obligation. That's why I say...Choose future, Choose democracy, CHOOSE BJP.
Lurker Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 It's sickening to see that our nations ruling party is continuing it's old and failed "Nehruvian" legacy of being Dynasty based and Zero internal democracy. What I personally find sickening is the sheer demise of political leadership from India. Congress obviously has been the worst hit but every single party out there is suffering from it today. The way I see Indian Democratic process is that there is NO political party that has a good footing in say 15 out of 25 states. I dont quite see any political leader who has mass appeal from Ahmedabad to Agartala. What I see instead is a country where political system is going to be kept on ransome by a Lalloo, a Mulayam, a Karunanidhi, a Modi, a Premchand Dhumal. A Modi can NOT win a election in Bihar today just as a Premchand Dhumal will lose the election in Gujrat. This complete failure of top National leaders scares and sickens me. Yes it is all good to have strong regional leader but if there are no central leadership what kind of country are we gonna run? For well over a decade and a half our Central Govt. has been a "mili-juli sarkaar" and I dont see it changing anytime soon. xxx
head coach Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Next year BJP is going to be back in power at the center. They'll get support from Mulayam led front. Congress will soon get Sharad Pawar back into its fold. There is also a chance of a left led government with Prakash Karat leading and Lalu, Karunanidhi and congress(with seats less than what left gets) backing them (this will be a disaster). - News received from journalist friends.

Wasn't that a dynastic rule with Udhav and now disjunctus Raj Thackerey running the show in spite of lack of seniority .You and DR routinely criticize dynastic Congress and rightly so , but your tacit silence when it comes to Shiv Sena or the fact that BJP actually endorsed dynastic rule of Shiv Sena by taking their support reeks hypocrisy. Lurker, call me a right winger nationalist or whatever, but it's a fact if dhimmi media has not maligned the image of Narendra Modi, by now we could have got a leader with REAL MASS APPEAL. NAMO has that Golden Touch, Speaks with heart, backs his speech with ground work....Appeals to people (currently Gujaratis) instantly. I say, shame on disgusting media for maligning such a great Future leadre of India who can preserve National as well as strategic interests of India in coming century. I hope BJP gets some wind and grooms him as future PM of India.

He has chosen himself to be thus. Just like a Chandrababu Naidu or a Laloo can never be a National leader similarly Modi would never be a National leader. His mass-appeal is restricted to certain masses - Gujratis. If he comes to Bihar/UP and talks of "ashmita" he would be shoved back in no time. Just wait for the next election in Bihar. I am sure Narendra Modi would be here to canvass, lets check the result and see how much of a National figure he has become. xxx
