Well I am Glad you ask, Jeet Ashok Rawal use to open with Parthiv in under 14/16 teams for Gujarat's Rashtriya championship were they plays vs Ishant,piyush Chawla and rahane plus,

 

His dad Ashok Rawal left Gujarat and settled in NZ, Jeet was 17 at that time, his Coach was Deepak patel , Former NZ All rounder, he début for Auckland at tender age of 20/21 and played vs touring WI, he suppose to open innings but his captain sends him 7, he batted brilliantly and put on 63 with test star, Jeet hits 2 sixes and 2 four to WI fast bowler and everyone notices his talent, that was year 2008

 

Since than he was house hold name in Newzeland Domestic cricket, yet last season he and Bharat Popli broke most record in domestic cricket

Everyone expect Bharat to get selects in NZ team because Mac retired, Cory and Elliott  dropped  plus BHARAT POPLI HITS 1149 WITH 67.89 AVERAGE but Left hand Jeet Rawals innings of 147 vs classy bowling plus previous performances favors his selection, NZ need opener.
