Malcolm Merlyn Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Quote The final of the second edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be held in Lahore on March 7, 2017, subject to security clearance, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Wednesday (November 2). The group stage and the knockout games leading up to the final of the tournament, which is set to begin from February 9, will be played in Dubai and Sharjah. Reportedly, there is a clause in the contracts handed out to the foreign players that states that they have to make themselves available for the final if their team reaches the summit clash. However, there are also reports that these players will be paid an extra fee of USD 20,000 each After the success of the inaugural edition played in early 2016, more marquee players like Brendon McCullum and Mahela Jayawardene were part of the player draft on October 19. While McCullum was picked by first season's wooden spoon winners Lahore Qalandars, Jayawardene earned a reunion with good friend Kumar Sangakkara at Karachi Kings. England's limited-overs captain Eoin Morgan will join Shahid Afridi and England teammates Chris Jordan and Alex Hales at Peshawar Zalmi. http://www.cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/83716/pakistan-super-league-2-final-to-be-held-in-lahore-on-march-7
