kabira Posted January 6, 2008 Share Posted January 6, 2008 Today Game of Test Cricket died. I was told that "The team which plays well, wins it". Oh well, thats not the case. India should have gotten Aussies out at around 300 in first innings. India would have had lead of over 200, to be precise 220 odd. Australia would have scored 400 in second innings (Hussey was out way before he made even 50). But I am generous here and still allowed them to score 400. We would have chased down 180, no problem whatsoever, winning by 3-4 wickets. Series tied at 1-1. But who am I? I am just stupid fan who thinks cricket is gentleman's game, and expect fair battle between two teams. Aussies are world champions and I think nobody denies that, but to challenge them, if team needs to take 25-30 wickets to win a test match, how can they be ever challenged. Today Cricket died and it needs your condolences. RIP TEST CRICKET. Link to comment
