The Indian media has lodged an official complaint to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) about Ricky Ponting’s unsavoury remarks in a press conference after the conclusion of the second Test match at Sydney. The day was replete with controversial incidents, one of them being Ponting’s appeal for a catch off the bowling of Hogg. The batsman was MS Dhoni. Ponting claimed that the catch was clean, although the replays suggested otherwise. When at the press conference Ponting was asked about the catch, he reacted aggressively. "Sorry I think you have got something wrong. The question was asked about an appeal for a grounded catch but Ricky, you rightly understood that its your integrity that should have been questioned. And by raising the issue of your integrity, you have proved that its questionable.
