Proteas fielding standards

Did anyone notice the dropping standards... Or is it that the other teams have caught up with them?  RSA squads of mid 90s and 2000s was a beast in fielding. 

 

One major reason in my view is the rise of coloured players in their squad. For some reason they are not as good at fielding as their white teammates. Notice the same change with Zimbabwe...some of us may remember they were regularly called the best fielding unit in 97 to 2000 period. There are exceptions like Bavuma but for some reason they are not as good in the field in terms of catching and outfielding and taking blinders.
