Only SL and IND will progress to Super 8

Recommended Posts

Let me explain how... 1. SL had already played against Bermuda and has a pretty decent run rate. 2. IND has its job cut out against Bermuda...and that is to defeat Bermuda with more margin than SL....so IND will have better run rate than SL for Bermuda game. 3. SL will not take chances against IND...they will be prepared for the worst case scenario..and that is if IND wins against SL. PS: India will have to win aginst SL with a run rate which is better than what BD has at the moment. 4. SL will show BD their place and will give them a humiliating defeat..thus BD's run rate will go down... 5. BD will have a unsurmountable run rate target to achieve against Bermuda.. so we just need to beat SL with a run rate which is better than BD at the moment.. and we need to beat Bermuda with a margin of more than 250+... and we are safe...then it will be a tussle between SL and BD... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Re: Only SL and IND will progress to Super 8 Wouldn't it be easier to just bat first and put up a huge total and then bundle Bermuda out for a very low score? It's so amazing how half the people here are confident that India will make it to the Super 8s and others, like myself are planning to give up hope lol.

if Bermuda bat first.,..our main target will be to bundle them out cheaply...les than 70-80...and get the score in less than 10 overs without losing many wickets.. does wickets have any impact on run rate??
In that case, India's combined NRR will be lower than Sri Lanka's. Which means India wont be "safe" till the last match.
