Gunner_Mania
I watched the game for a bit, lots of rain interruptions. Greg Rusedski said even before the match started that Murray was playing so good that he expected him to beat Fed in straight sets.

Sooda
Interesting stuffz happening in Cincinatti Roddick seems to be hopefully (!!!!) recovering from his Mono Nucl and beat Soderling in 3 tight sets last night. Goes on to face Djokovic, who in turn beat Nalbandian in st sets. Seems somewhat one sided on the face of it that one, which is a bit surprising/dissapointing. Hopefully Roddick is fully fit and he fires his way past Djok. Baghdatis beat Berdych, again a surprise as Id have expected the pacy courts here to help Berdych. OTOH good to see Baggy playing well, maybe getting back to the kind of form that got him to the Aus O final a few years ago. Think he plays Rafa next- Im tipping Baggy for that one. Rafa dosent like the US Hards. Murray beat Gulbis in a tough 3 setter, Gulbis talented but inconsistent player always useful on hard courts. Dissapointed he could not do more there. Plays Mardy Fish next- maybe, just mmmaaayybbee Fish can cause an upset in 3...home crowd, he can get his power game going and Murray seems to only just getting used to the pace of the surface. And The Fed plays his old buddy Davydenko, thatll be close one. But the Fed shd come through

Sooda
lawwl Not a huge surprise, the US courts are a bit quick for Rafa and it dosent sit up well for him to pummel it back, particularly when the opponent is a quality shot maker like Baghdatis. Whats more the pace of it varies from tourno to tourno in these lead up events to flushing meadows, which makes it hard for all players. I still wouldnt write him off, he can win on anything. I think he has managed his schedule better this year and is fitter than what he has been coming into the last GS than in prior years Good to see Baghdatis playing well, he can be good to watch in full flow. So a Rod-Fed final it seems. :woot:
