King
The seaming tracks and helpful conditions in Ireland, Scotland and England will be an ideal platform for India's speed merchants to showcase their skills, feels Javagal Srinath. More... Link to comment
Ram
The Indian pacers will make or break the tour for India.. if they cant deliver , we dont stand a chance.. I expect better things from esp RP Singh ( if he plays tht is ).. For too long he has been this "exciting young bowler"... its time for him to tak some 5-fors and justify his place.. Link to comment
gator
definitely as fast or faster than the english bowlers.... though selecting the tortoise Bose pulled us all down.... instead VRV should have been included.... Zak, RPS, Aggy, Sreesanth clock over 140 consistently.... on their side, there is only harmi.... plunkett, sidebottom, hoggy are all, fast medium bowlers... Link to comment
Ram
Plunkett is over 140.. most of the times.. Link to comment
Predator_05
Only Sreesanth consistently bowls in the 140's. The others don't - not in Test cricket anyway. If ENG play Harmison, Plunkett and Anderson together, they will have a much faster (but not necessarily better) bowling attack. Link to comment
Ram
will flintoff be fit in time for the test matchs ?? hope not.. Link to comment
gator
IIRC, RPS was clocking more consistently over 140.... Link to comment
King
England is one place where pace won't really matter. Guys like Sidebottom and the rest rule. I think guys like Bose, RPS and the rest will not be too bad as long as they can bowl in the right areas. Link to comment
King Tendulkar
england bowling attack will be sydebottom, harmisson and hoggard. thus i think we will have the faster attack. Link to comment
Chandan
Srinath is forgetting that we'll be playing in the later summer and the pitches won't seam then!! Link to comment
King
One word I want to remind everyone "Sammy" :P Link to comment
ludhianvi
I think we might miss Munaf. He would have been an asset in Tests in English conditions. Btw, is Munaf injured or he just did not get a spot in Tests? Link to comment
Rahul
Plunkett is over 140.. most of the times.. and he has been shyte throughout this series--an unwinnable contest between super pacer harmy and plunky to figure out who can thulp the second slip... Link to comment
