Nov. 4 to Jan. 17: Ranji Trophy Elite group (Group ‘A’: Mumbai, Karnataka, Delhi, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Saurashtra and Himachal Pradesh (promoted from Plate group), Group ‘B’: Be ngal, Baroda, Hyderabad, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Andhra and Orissa (promoted from Plate group). Elite group schedule: Nov. 4-7 (Round 1), Nov. 12-15 (R2), Nov. 20-23 (R3), Nov. 28 - Dec. 1 (R4), Dec. 6-9 (R5), Dec. 14-17 (R6), Dec. 22-25 (R7); Jan. 2-6, 2008 (semifinals), Jan. 13-17 (final). Nov. 4 to Dec. 30: Ranji Trophy Plate group (Group ‘A’: Assam, Gujarat (relegated from Elite group), Vidarbha, Kerala, Services and Tripura.
