will we give the same farewell to our stars..like Sachin or Dravid and Kumble.?? i wish that these greats decide to retire while playing in india so that we can bid them farewell..in a grand style... Kumble and Dravid should play their last game in B'lore and sachin should play his last test match in Wankhade... BCCI will have to play a major role in this..in publicizing the news in international media.. and if we play australia on spinning wickets...for the farewell series... it will be a fittinf send off to these great servants of indian cricket....with a series win against helpless australians..

It will be good if they retire at home but our men usually don't understand when to retire, they just carry on till about the time their performances hit nadir and get dropped. Srinath was only one that recognized the need to retire on a high in the recent years. Gavaskar retire when at peak too. I can't think of any other names :chin:
