shailesh
should be a good game with winner to take on Aussies in the finals. My money on NZ to win this one. :wtg: Link to comment

King
Re: England v NZ odi - a virtual SF Tough ask, to score 270 but won't put it past the NZ batting line up given the form in the recent few ODIs. Link to comment
King
Re: England v NZ odi - a virtual SF Brilliant start, Plunkett starts with 9 wides off the first over. England aren't missing Harmison. Link to comment

kabira
Re: England v NZ odi - a virtual SF Aussie plan worked.. if they had beaten England, most likelihood NZL would be in the finals.. Now Aussies have cakewalk.. Link to comment
yoda
Re: England v NZ odi - a virtual SF I am sure the aussies wouldn't mind playing NZ in the finals. Link to comment

King
Re: England v NZ odi - a virtual SF That was a clear example of "Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory". With 120 runs needed off 20 overs and 8 wickets to go who would have thought NZ would lose  Fleming despite the 100 couldn't place a ball for life in the later overs and the run out of Taylor was the turning point. It was unfortunate Oram, McCullum, Styris and the rest couldn't fire. Lest Bond is in great form, the ball to Vaughan was a beauty. Link to comment
veer
Re: England v NZ odi - a virtual SF strange game.. strange result... :chin: :chin: relatively small target.. opener gets out after 45 overs.. and still losing it.. specially after the way plunkett bowled first over .. usually its kiwis who snatch victories.. kiwis plays any games before wc?? King
Re: England v NZ odi - a virtual SF Yup Chappell Hadlee trophy to be played in NZ, a 3 ODI series against Australia. It is not going to prepare the team as well to be honest. They have had their chance in the Commonwealth triseries but didn't come very well off. 2 wins out of 8 games is not a good return. observer1
Re: England v NZ odi - a virtual SF 'how to lose a match while going for personal glory' authored by s fleming... what an unmitigated twit. any other captain, any other player who dawdled as much as he did today would surely be taken to the cleaners. but, i am sure tomorrow's headlines will say 'fleming's heroics fail to save new zealand' or words to that effect Link to comment
