It is good when you buy, but you also need it to appreciate steadily (not crazy, but steady) after you buy?

The property rates which were six months back are nearly same today also

The property rates which were six months back are nearly same today also I guess that shows that Atlanta is quite robust, which is generally a good thing for you since you want to invest in places that can hold up well. Ofcourse the downside to make a good investment is a bit more premium, but you get sound investment atleast from the +ve side.
