sandtest Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 aaaah haa...so Congress has now started returning the favor and no one seems to even notice...:giggle: Proven Macaulaylized p-sec jornos like Rajdeep Fartdesai, Burkha Dutt and Vinod Dua has been rewarded with Padmashri awards And dhimmi IBN proudly boasts that this is the first time a civilians award have been conferred on TV journalists in India...ohh why not why not, go lick your p-sec masters and Congress +Marxists parties and bash Hindus, down-to-earth leadres like NAMO and be rewarded by vatican leaning madam Sonia Manio!! Congressi retards have sucked a new low. Now, with evangelical controlled IBN and Communist owned NDTV, we Indian are doomed to be psy-opsed by these Nationalism haters. Most of the shows of Burkha Dutt is to gather data for sociology studies intended for "social engineering" of Indian psyche and Indian society. These shows are carefully managed and produced which are used by the sociologists for social management, media management and cultural changes to suite their agenda which is usually western. All of them are the product of sociology education given scholarship in the western universities. So folks.....Congratulations to Rajdeep sardesai and Barkha Dutt for the award! I am sure even the Bharat Ratna is not far away. This is in recognition of your tremendous selfless service to the congress party. I am sure that if you keep on attacking the nationalist parties and supporting the anti-national communists and dynastic congress party, you will soon get the Bharat Ratna. We need more people like you so (at least the Chinese and Pakis would think so!). Keep on producing one-sided programmes. Keep pushing the Marxist/Maoist propoganda. Keep supporting the Candle light kissers of wagah border and closet commies like Paraksh Karats, Yechuris and Arun-dhoty Roys.. Doing so will earn you a Nobel one day!
CC1981 Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Now, with evangelical controlled IBN and Communist owned NDTV, we Indian are doomed to be psy-opsed by these Nationalism haters. LOL. More like Hinduvta are doomed to be exposed for the fanatics they are...oh and Muslim a$$-kissing will continue too...oh well. Doing so will earn you a Nobel one day! Better than getting banned from entering a nation for being a fanatic git, wouldn't you say ? All of them are the product of sociology education given scholarship in the western universities. That is becuse sociology as a science is non-existent in India/at a super-pathetic level. Obviously, the only credible educated ones in this field are western educated ones. The way i see it, commies are fools of the highest order, but still, a better bargain than religious fundamentalists like hinduvta/islamists etc. PS: I am still waiting for your acknowledgement/explanation as to why Ashoka, Chandragupta, Vikramaditya and practically ALL the great indian monarchs who've left history behind wrote in a script that came from mesopotamia.
fineleg Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 LOL. More like Hinduvta are doomed to be exposed for the fanatics they are.... :two_thumbs_up:
sandtest Posted January 29, 2008 Author Posted January 29, 2008 Ignoring CCs usual OFF-TOPIC drivels, I still wonder, what justification these Congressi retards have to shower Padmashri awards to highly biased editors like Rajdeep Fartdesai... Just a few days back same IBN carried out a news saying "Hindu" monkey bites Muslim, whne in fact a Monkey bites a guy :(( http://www.ibnlive.com/news/hindu-monkey-bites-muslim-kid-held/24127-3.html Dhimified Indian media is in all it's glory.
CC1981 Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I still wonder, what justification these Congressi retards have to shower Padmashri awards to highly biased editors like Rajdeep Fartdesai... Because pyaare, what is biassed/what is not, is not set in stone, it is a matter of perspective. What is biassed to you, is quite good quality to others when we are talking about ANYTHING but concrete math and science- and even then there are ambiguities, if you don't know so already. Btw,the only good that can come of it is increased educational attention to these fields in India. I really don't know where your this 'indian super-culture/morally-superior' drivel reconciles with the FACT that India and Indians educated through the indian educational system in general lack quite alot of qualities in quite a lot of fields. I kid you not when i say that any Indian graduate in any topic bar science-related and linguistic related fields, will get their a$$es whooped. From business, media, arts, philosophy, history, geography and fine arts, the western system is far far better. This ofcourse, does not negate the fact that there are also western superiorist elements in many circles who distinctly undermine other culture's values/antiquity,etc., but merely to point out to you not to dismiss all western educated ones because of your cultural xenophobism almost bordering on racism. For your information, a lot of what we know of our history is BECAUSE of these 'westerners'- even the bits you are PROUD of. Yes, legends, tales, etc. of Ashoka survived through the ages, but it was actually the Brits who went around uncovering/unearthing most of his relics. We ourselves had forgetten about it. Just a few days back same IBN carried out a news saying "Hindu" monkey bites Muslim, whne in fcat a Monkey bites a guy That is below the belt, agreed.
Guest HariSampath Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 ^...so you are saying that Indian culture/history etc was "saved" by Westerners ? and that anything written down in Mesapotamian script was theearliest ? wrong. Script is just an accepted way of communicating information , but what is more ancient than script is "sound" that is the spoken word, and here Indian wisdom had been far more ancient and the written sanskrit / similar sounding languages were all much later versions of earlier sound.
CC1981 Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 so you are saying that Indian culture/history etc was "saved" by Westerners ? To a great extent, yes. Like i said, they have made their contributions too- its simply closeminded and ignorant to think otherwise, really. and that anything written down in Mesapotamian script was theearliest ? That we know of, yes. Discounting pictographs (where its just a bunch of pictures carved/etched without the consistency of a script), the very first SCRIPT known of is the Phoenician script- from which aramaic script, from which Brahmi (and from which, all scripts in india today) descend. Don't bring anciency of 'sanskrit' or any such arguments into this, since we are talking about strictly, writing here. Script is just an accepted way of communicating information , but what is more ancient than script is "sound" that is the spoken word, and here Indian wisdom had been far more ancient and the written sanskrit / similar sounding languages were all much later versions of earlier sound. Nobody is denying that. Except that the way of communication involving 'sound only' without recording devices lack authenticity in a historic context. You are remembering what someone told you of what someone told them of....ad infinium. Sorry, but the lack historicity in them, since it is nothing more than a claim backed by little to no evidence. It can be taken as a whole but how deeply you scrutinize a strictly oral tradition is very vague, since it has very little way of implicit proving. And ultimately, you cannot deny that writing is a far far superior learning and functioning tool than oral-only skills and achivements of mankind since writing categorically establishes that. My point there was very simple- it is utterly ridiculous to hold some sort of 'indian cultural/spiritual/social supriority that sandtest potrayed. Btw, i don't see why you chose to toss in the aramaic script comment in this thread- unless ofcourse, you are too lazy to respond on time/dig up the appropriate thread. That had nothing to do with this conversation.
Guest HariSampath Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 ^ I dont understand how you can deride the current education system , which is largely a Western based concept and at the same time pronounce the Western system of today as superior. I had myself been educated under both systems ( India and US) and I do know their system is excellent, and far superior at the university level. At a school level however I feel the Indian system is of much higher standards. And as far as India , universities , etc go, remember that India probably had one of the most advanced Universities of its era, that is Nalanda University ( it was a seat of learning even by 500 BCE approximately as Siddhartha had been there), where 10,000 scholars from India and also from so many countries like China, Persia , Turkey and several other cultures came to study. One wonders how all this would have been possible without an advanced written script ( Sanskrit or not, all script has evolved over time and probably there were so many earlier versions of Sanskrit too). Additionally , even in those ancient times ( BCE, Emperor Ashoka, Gupta period etc) such studies like science, astronomy, yogashastra, medicene, Vedas, philosophy, foriegn studeies etc You should know that contrary to what you say, India was much advanced and growing by the 500-1200 CE as a world leader of culture and learning, till the Mohameddan invaders ransacked and destroyed many things here.
sandtest Posted January 31, 2008 Author Posted January 31, 2008 ^...so you are saying that Indian culture/history etc was "saved" by Westerners ? and that anything written down in Mesapotamian script was theearliest ? wrong. I have pointed out to him in some other thread about what "Shruti" means...but this guy has no understanding of Sanskrit -whatso-ever, so no use of discussing. You may not be aware about his past "intelligence"...long back we have corrected him about Vedas and Upanishads when he tried to throw some false information about Hinduism...basically he is a hardcore anti-Hindu. best ignored.
sandtest Posted January 31, 2008 Author Posted January 31, 2008 Now, Since CC has once again successfully hijacked a thread title.... Coming back to OP......I remember last year puppet Manmohan was awarded by IBN...so it clearly shows Congressi governnment has returned the favor...:giggle:
Guest HariSampath Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Now, Since CC has once again successfully hijacked a thread title.... Coming back to OP......I remember last year puppet Manmohan was awarded by IBN...so it clearly shows Congressi governnment has returned the favor...:giggle: Indian English media are largely dependent on Congress/associated funding and Congress is largely dependent on English media in India for BJP bashing now and then on some issue or other, this is a sybiotic relationship that is an ongoing process. Sadly for the Congress and English media, their reach is just a small fraction of the Indian population , and that is why the Cong led English media is no match for the regional language media allover the country who are more supporters of BJP. The above is a very relevant equation when you consider the only gameplan of Cong is Hindu/Indian culture/BJP bashing; in order to successfully woo the minirities, so called oppressed classes etc. Just a cheap political game, and this English media crowd comprises of those who consider themselves "sophisticated westernised" Indians ; and are out to educate their poor country cousins from the villages and "save" them from all forms of traditionalism/heritage/religious thought etc, which the BJP represents on the political spectrum at least.
CC1981 Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 ^ I dont understand how you can deride the current education system , which is largely a Western based concept and at the same time pronounce the Western system of today as superior There are still major differences between education in the west and in India. My point is, the focus of academics in India is very narrow- apart from sciences and languages, indian education system really sucks. One wonders how all this would have been possible without an advanced written script ( Sanskrit or not, all script has evolved over time and probably there were so many earlier versions of Sanskrit too) Sanskrit is a language, not a script. Script is strictly writing. Brahmi script has been in use in India atleast from 700 BC. You should know that contrary to what you say, India was much advanced and growing by the 500-1200 CE as a world leader of culture and learning, till the Mohameddan invaders ransacked and destroyed many things here. Err..i never denied that. What i said is that your/Sandtest's ideas of 'india civilized the world and is the best culture in the world' is nothing more than superiorist drivel.
CC1981 Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 I have pointed out to him in some other thread about what "Shruti" means. Your pointing out was not required. basically he is a hardcore anti-Hindu. best ignored. I am not anti-hindu. I am just not a hindu fanatic like you are. From the perspective of a fanatic, anyone who doesn't toe their line is anti-hindu: i've seen your types before. Anyways, you are still to answer my points when i addressed you on your indian-superiority-complex nonsense.
Guest dada_rocks Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 U guys waste too much time on thsi ponga pandit ..the day I got to know his panditry claim comes despite zero knowldege of sanskrit I stopped taking him seriously.. On online forums u will bump into bonafide frauds but never a fraud ike this who will claim everythign despite knowing nothing.. ignore the clown i have put him in my ignore list
CC1981 Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 ignore the clown i have put him in my ignore list That is actually quite an honor, for it is direct, tacit admission from you that you cannot even BEGIN to debate me. Pitiful, but understandable...afterall, one can go only so far after hailing from a village with a very cloistered upbringing.
