Those two spinners would have decimated you. Their were 5 passengers on the CT team and we still made it to finals. Pakistan is not a worthy opponent anymore.

Cos it’s good marketing value, there’s More Indians in the crowd in Sydney and Melbourne then there are Aussies. Otherwise in terms of competitiveness CA wouldn’t beg for India to come play in Aus only to get the customary phainty, or vice versa when Aus visits India.

 

Playing England or SA pulls in crowds in the Australian people, India doesnt. Heck even hobart which has a population of like 200,000 pulled in better crowds than what you get in some test matches in India when they hosted SA, despite the whether being utter garbage.

Whether Indians come or others it does not matter. ACB makes money. Moreover India gives them much tougher competition then England or SA.

 

They dont make money with SA. England they break even. India they get tested and make money. If you dont like India playing Australia you can complain to ACB. We will still not play the haters from across the border. They are very inferior opponents. I dont like easy games.
