King
Cricket is a team game and not even Tendulkar can be touted as the back bone. For Tendulkar to win games he still requires the bowlers to do the job. I would have said the two final games were won single handedly by Tendulkar if India were chasing 300+ and Tendulkar hit over 150. We know the Indian bowlers did a great job and the likes of Rohit Sharma and the rest also supported Tendulkar immensely. It can be said Tendulkar is a very superior player among both teams and so experienced that he can control his batting like no other batsman. I think his contribution to he team is beyond just good batting. He can help a lot of young ones not just advising them about batting technique but also guiding them on conduct and other finer aspects of the game. Link to comment
