Weather and world cup

Besides our own lack of prep I can’t but feel slighted by weather gods

this World Cup has proved bad for pak and india . We got robbed of facing New Zealand and pak lost a well deserved top 4 slot - to all pak fans, india did not play slow - india did play slow due to lack of capability . Don’t think anybody wanted england to win

also is it me or is it that the English got best pitches , best tailor made boundaries for their games?

Finally , does anybody have any weather humidity stats when Boult bowled to kohli - think it must have been very humid for the ball to bend like that . I noticed how bhuvi ball stopped swinging after 5 balls in first innings on first day.

to summarize

- this was a weather affected World Cup . Top 4 i don’t think so reached the final top 4 . Pak played better but suffered partially due to weather

-india made some poor calls especially of not playing shami but weather was not our ally too .

Icc should hold World Cup in venues which have least probability of rains . Rain and deteriorating pitches make for a bad World Cup . I would rather prefer to see wc in Asia and Aussie - less affected by rain . The wc in South Africa was also well organized . This one was perhaps boring , long and the final will be a one sided affair as definitely New Zealand is not the top 3 team by any standard this World Cup
