Laxman converts from SS to SG

Someone tell me if I woke up just now to this information, as I was busy with work for quite some time now, but it is only today that I am seeing Laxman use SG bat. He used to use a SS Ton 281 Kashmir Willow Cricket Bat - weight - 2lb 7oz - 9oz But only today morning I am freshly seeing him use the same bat as Rahul Dravid, which is SG Sunny Gold - English Willow weight - 2lb 04oz to 2lb 12oz Normally it is very late in his career for a bat change. But since laxman, like azharuddin likes to flick the ball around he might have preferred the lighter version of SG sunny gold. Or is it because of the English willow? OR maybe he got it made by a batmaker like his illustrious team-mates. I hope it is Sachin's man, who is credited with producing BAS Vampire ( Sachin uses a modified version of it now. Yes! it is only comparable to Harry Potter's wand for us muggles), and SG guys are sponsoring for Laxman's equipment. Can someone enlighten me?
