THX_1138 Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 he was offered a role in Robert Rodriguez's Grindhouse, he was in line to play the role of Wray Rodriguez, and yeah we could have seen him getting it on with Rose McGowan (the wet dream of millions of indians), or he would have played the character eventually played by Naveen Andrews. nonetheless, he is the first indian american to have a successful career in hollywood. he had a small role in superman, as the chief henchman for lex luthor. i wanna see him as the lead, since he has a certain goofiness to his demeanor, that might not be easily achieved, but judging by his performance in the namesake, he was stupendous. as for his roles in HnK he is probably the funniest actor in hollywood at the moment.

Aditi Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 He's a decent comic actor (American Desi & Harold and Kumar), but my favorite role played by him by far is that of Gogol Ganguli. Hopefully we'll see him in more serious roles too.
FistOfFury Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 He has a goofy look that suits his comic roles. Recently saw "Namesake" thought it was quite good, I couldnt take him seriously at first, then he does a good job in the end.
