veer Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Re: Worldcup warm-up games schedule Fixtures World Cup Warm-up Matches, 2006/07 Fri 9 New Zealand v Sri Lanka Three Ws Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados Fri 9 Pakistan v South Africa Sir Frank Worrell Memorial Ground, St Augustine, Trinidad Fri 9 Australia v England Arnos Vale Ground, Kingstown, St Vincent Fri 9 India v West Indies Trelawny Stadium, Jamaica Decent no. of interesting games. Are these shown on television ? I think this is bit surprising warm-up schedule.. India just played WI.. Aussie just played Eng.. SA just played Pak all within last month or so.. NZ played lanka bit earlier.. it is kinda dumb.. should have been with different opponents... it would be interesting to see this warm-up schedule.. India vs NZ.. Aussie vs Lanka (or pak) Eng vs Pak (or lanka) SA vs WI

Chandan Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Re: Worldcup warm-up games schedule Errr... One Dayers come under List A not FC status if not given international status. But I doubt if these games will have even the List A status!
