whats there to laugh in that. yuvraj singh isnt the same anymore. he was struggling in aus in both tests & odis & cant play spin. also his ipl record isnt great. we have players 10x better than yuvraj singh in india now. i would replace yuvraj singh with shikhar dhawan in odis

Uh, Shikhar Dhawan hasn't done 1/10 of what Yuvraj has done. Until he proves himself to be better than Yuvraj, I don't think he deserves a place instead of Yuvi. He's terrific in the LOI format of the game. Isn't the same anymore? What happened? He had one bad series and all of a sudden he's not the same anymore? His performance in the IPL means zilch to be honest. His record in ODIs is awesome and he will continue to be in the team. And uh, do tell me why Sachin shouldn't be in the ODI squad?

Getting the squad for triseries in bangladesh right with d triseries in bangladesh n asia cup in pakistan, the squad 4 d upcoming series should comprise of talented youngsters who have played good in the ipl most of the players dropped from the national team should be given a chance, as bangladesh r a relatively less tougher a side to beat coz harbhajan is banned, this will give piyush chawla a very welcom eoppurtunity to showcase his skill as the only specialist spinner in th playing 11 sehwag robin uthappa/gautam gambhir suresh raina/rohit sharma yuvraj singh m s dhoni dinesh kaarthick/badrinath piyush chawla irfan pathan zaheer khan/ashish nehra r p singh/ishant sharma sreesanth the bench strength can boast about manoj tiwary, parthiv patel, ramesh powar, munaf patel, lakshmipathy balaji n badrinath irfan is getting his early swing back, so he should continue playing at d international level r p singh isn't in the best of his rythm, good oppurtunity for him as well ashish nehra and badrinath are the players which should be rotated in every alternate game what say??????????

Sachin shouldnt be in ODI squad for bangladesh coz I feel he should be rested for Asia Cup perhaps but more importantly SL tour and the rest of the hectic season..its time to experiment with some other players And how can Dhawan prove himself to be better than Yuvraj, if he doesnt get a place in the final XI for India? (not saying he's better than Yuvraj, but we can't say anything at this point)

dhawan looks very comfortable against spinners whereas yuvraj seems to struggle against spin. also, dhawan has a better technique than yuvraj

(I just read Cricinfo, which says he's out for the Tri-Series in Bangladesh and the Asia Cup. :(( ) I understand what you mean about Dhawan - I merely wanted to say that he shouldn't be in the squad in place of Yuvraj. I am all for trying him out (and play him alongside Yuvi).
