Get a sense of perspective.... even if we had won, it would not be a great deal, soccer is a global sport, India ranks 102 in soccer.

 

Cricket is not exactly a world sport, outside of subcontinent, which itself is an underachiever in sports , cricket is played in just England, Australia, NZ, SA, WI. So what are you crying about?

 

I would say this that India had a great team and excellent players like Kohli, Rohit, bumrah... need many more great reserve players given the population, bench players should also be similar to the best.
