Allrounder Corbin Bosch delivered a sensational performance on Day 1 of the first Test in Bulawayo, guiding South Africa to a formidable 418/9 against Zimbabwe. Bosch, 24, crafted his maiden Test century — his first in first-class cricket — finishing unbeaten on 100 from 124 balls.

 

Corbin Bosch is a South African all-rounder known for his right-handed batting and right-arm fast-medium bowling. He gained prominence during the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, where he was named Player of the Match in the final, helping South Africa clinch the title. He made his Test debut against Pakistan in December 2024, scoring an unbeaten 81 and taking four wickets, becoming the first South African to achieve a half-century and a four-wicket haul on Test debut.
