The Outsider Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Not sure if it's bottoming out but there are certain sectors and companies which when well researched and studied can give you handsome profits in a few months - alternate energy, gold and other metals, fertilizer sector are looking like good investments at the moment. Moreover there is a lot of predictability in certain sectors where playing the cards right can give you good profits if you keep jumping in and out frequently. For example, it's a given that airline stocks will correlate with the oil prices and selling on peaks and buying on troughs can give you a decent profit if you trade actively.
Lurker Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I will keep my money in high yielding Savings at this time. If I do intend to dabble, I shall dabble in small denominations(1000$ a month or so).
