BCCI website in the next 30 days? 4 Aug, 2008 0103hrs IST, TNN / Indranil Basu GALLE: The BCCI may be the richest cricket board in the world, but the Sharad Pawar-led dispensation, inspite of making many promises, still does not have its own web portal. That may change come September, however, with BCCI vice-president Lalit Modi claiming that a Canada-based company called cricket.com has bought portal rights from the Indian cricket board for $50 million for the next 10 years. "We had signed them a long time ago and now we are in the process of launching the website at the end of August. We are going to make it the most popular cricket website in the world," Modi told TOI on Sunday. Modi visited Dubai two days back to finalize the contents of the portal. "The website will have interactive facilities. If a fan wants to interact with Indian cricketers or administrators, he can do so through the website," Modi said, adding, "We are also going to have live audio and video streams, links to other cricket boards and state associations, archives etc. Even the IPL website will get better the next time." BCCI had launched a portal during the 2006 Champions Trophy but it was just to sell tickets for the event. :two_thumbs_up::two_thumbs_up:

I agree with sandtest. A green top makes a test match interesting. But I dont think the Lankans will do that as India has a better fast bowling department compared to Lankans and the Indian batsmen are better equipped to play fast bowling than the Srilankans. We will get a turner again. Yes, toss will be very important.
