King Tendulkar
Karthick has to go. Patel has been keeping in FC cricket for years since his international days ended, reports are he is improved a lot. Lets see if he has improved, lets be honest he cant do worse then KKD. Link to comment
Fontaine
Agree with letting Kartick play this last one.We will see if he has it in him to make the improvement. If he lets the team down again.....he should go back to domestic cricket for a long time. Giving Dravid the gloves at this time when he is not very high on confidence is a sure shot way of giving vengcircus the chance to do what he has been itching to do to Dravid for the last one year. A really bad idea! Man, this is what I don't get. Karthik get's one more shot and if he fails then should be kicked out of the team and someone like Dravid, who's also been in bad form should be protected from being a wicket keeper because it might lead him to be dropped? With all due respect, forget this player vs player mentality. I just want the team to win as that's the best way to get confidence into the side. The best players for the best positions. Ideally we would have Dhony in there but as a one off if Dravid can't handle being wicket keeper and contributing with the bat then why the double standard for Karthik? Why expect him to keep wickets and play well with the bat when we can't expect the same from one of our most experienced batsmen/wicket keepers? Link to comment
bunny
It basically depends on whose form is better in the nets: PP's or KKD's. (RD can be tried but first in the nets on a turning pitch, and if he is not dropping sitters, then he should be made the WK and Munaf can come in). Link to comment
The Outsider
It's a crazy notion to think Dravid can still keep wickets when he has not kept for years and has put on several years in the mean time to his age. Link to comment
