Kumar Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Many different opinions on who should be dropped. I think with the victory f the second test, our bowling should remain the same, even though AK is not doing great, but hes captain. The exclusion of Karthick would be handy as he would probably be the only one who kind of should be dropped. It would be great if sharma came in and dravid got the golves but really doubt that. I think we will see Patel coming in, but hey anything is possible, all down to selectors.
Ram Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Karthik at no.7 doesnt look the batsman he was, opening. Either he should be sent up the order or Parthiv should replace him.
Desi Cartman Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Mr Dinesh needs to be kicked out of the side ... I guess Parthiv patel cant do much worse than KKD ... If we were playing on normal pitches then I would have asked for R Sharma or someone else to be given a chance but nah not in SL not on 1-1 .
sandtest Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Please call Amit Mishra and give him a chance....he can pick wickets at spin friendly pitches. Kumble can tell media that he has decided to take a rest due to some fitness concern :D KKD is sure to be axed. Even Sharad Powar can't ensure his place in next match.
Kumar Posted August 3, 2008 Author Posted August 3, 2008 hmm, wonder watever happenned to ramesh powar:hmmmm:
satishg Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Karthik is the only one who is gonna be axed..papa get his chance now..
diegovegaz Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 the only change required is dinesh kaarthick making way for paarthiv patel, this isn't certain though, the team management might still go with kaarthick ganguly can be dropped to give rohit is debut cap!!!!! but it is not a strong call
jf1gp_1 Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Sehwag, Gambhir and Bhaji --> Manjrekar and Arun lala. Easy to play cricket with a mike in hand lets see how you perform on field.
Predator_05 Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Let's drop Harbhajan Singh. Did you know he averages 52.9843982 in his last 9.65 tests ? He is a useless piece of sh it
bunny Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 PP's form in the nets would decide whether KKD needs to be dropped. Btw, if it's a grassy pitch of which there are rumours, I'd send GG at 2-down and maybe even Sehwag at 1-down/3-down. I'd open with SRT/SG and RD. In fact, I'm convinced that GG would have a better career than SG if he plays in the middle order but for now he can open, as we don't have any other opener.
msb1991 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 hmm' date=' wonder watever happenned to ramesh powar:hmmmm:[/quote'] Very poor FC season for Mumbai.
Kumar Posted August 4, 2008 Author Posted August 4, 2008 Very poor FC season for Mumbai. :two_thumbs_up: thanks
King Tendulkar Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Patel will be in. That will and should be only change
fineleg Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Time to try Dropthiv - just for having someone else drop catches and miss stumpings. KKD has done his share of dropping.
msb1991 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Time to try Dropthiv Just out of interest, from someone born, raised and living in England - what is up with the lame (at least, they are to me, may not be to you and others living in India) nicknames like Dropthiv and Yuseless?
