Holysmoke
I keep seeing Randiv being hit for 4 by tendulklar. Yet you guys are purring over him:(( Because he has more wickets in this spell than bhajji has in the entire series:haha: Link to comment
ZodiaC
I keep seeing Randiv being hit for 4 by tendulklar. Yet you guys are purring over him:(( 1. He's being hit for 4s by tendulkar, not Mithun or Ishanth. 2. Being hit for fours doesn't mean a thing. He has conceded like what, 6 fours in his 18 overs with a relatively aggressive field? Wow, that's poor indeed. Dude get over it, the fella gave the ball good flight and got his reward. Link to comment
Fontaine
Because he has more wickets in this spell than bhajji has in the entire series:haha: :hysterical: Both Sri Lankan spinners have outperformed Bhajji so far. Mendis is getting the ball to skid on and Randiv created a few chances with his loop and was getting a bit of turn. In one session Randiv has looked more threatening that Bhajji has looked this entire series. What a joke of a spinner this clown has become. Link to comment
ZodiaC
As always, top post SJS Bhai, it's a rare sight to see people talk serious cricket without bias and whining :hatsoff: Link to comment

King Tendulkar
He has got 2 wickets and bowls a bit like oijha. I see nothing amazing. No big turn and dont think he has beat the bat once since lunch. One of his wickets was a pure gift from a brain fart by sehwag. Any comments on oijhas bowling? As lets not forget there were 2 spinners playing for India Link to comment

Fontaine
Randiv has been milked mercillesley since lunch. Are you watching the game? Watch Randiv's feet at the point of delivery and compare that to Bhajji. Also note how the ball comes out of Randiv's hand from a much higher trajectory and at least on a couple of occasions he's caught the batsmen off guard with extra bounce off the pitch. Bhajji bowled to many rubbish deliveries with his arm dragging the ball down instead of looping it up. This guy is showing how you're supposed to bowl on these types of pitches backed up by some super aggressive fields. If this kid can look so much better than Bhajji in just a couple of sessions on the same pitch then it's high time Bhajji earn his test spot. Get Murali Kartik in the team. Link to comment

Ohja did not do too well... but this what his 4th or 5th test. Compared to bhajji, who is our frontl ine stike bowler could not even keep it tight... let alone take wickets. Randiv & Mendis are sticking to the basics and reaping the rewards... Link to comment
Fontaine
In just his debut test match this Randiv kid is putting Bhajji to shame. While we're saddled with an unimaginative, tentative spinner who's skills have grossly eroded over the past few years, Sri Lanka have the luxury of showing off a brand new spinner who looks a totally different class to Bhajji. I've seen enough. Get Bhajji off this team and give him a few months to really work on his test match bowling. By rights Murali Kartik or Powar can come in and provide some skill instead of this dart throwing fake. Link to comment
asterix
Bhajji should do well to get few tips from Randiv..It's never too late to learn.. Link to comment

Wasn't one of your main beefs with Bhjai is that he is lazy, does not work and does not do gym work. What about Powars shape? You happy with his shape then and want to select him! Link to comment

It's all about the team and right now we desperately need a potent spinner who can bowl with genuine skill and guile to provide some spark to a listless bowling attack. The selectors need to get on the phone to Kartik and Powar. Let the best man play. Link to comment

Mr. Wicket
Um... Randiv's taken two key wickets that weren't the result of a tired batsman trying to just smack him to cow corner, conceded runs at a better e/r than Bhajji (3.02 compared to Bhajju's 3.44 this game) and he's the debutant here. And he's also not the guy who's averaging 250+ this series. Link to comment

Randiv has been smoked. Looks pathetic since tea. Has beat the bat about once since lunch. My point is not to slam randiv in aprticular. But to show how ridiculously flat this track. AS ALL SPINNERS HAVE BEEN MAULED. So judge Bhaji in that perspective Link to comment

It's not even a valid discussion anymore. Bhajji's current form for a while has been inadequate. There's simply no reason why guys like Kartik etc shouldn't be looked at as possible replacements for our most toothless spinner. Link to comment
