Ram Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 An event that has an lasting impact on my memory; Colin Powell, the then Secretary of State of the Bush's first term, making a comprehensive case for the presence of WMD's in Iraq, in the United Nations security council session, in 2002. His presentation included detailed evidence, including maps of where the weapons where located, satellite images of them being transported etc. If you were sitting in front of that presentation then, you would be convinced to think every house in Iraq had WMD stored in 'em. In the end, they couldnt even find a water-gun.What a bunch of shameless liars!

Its no wonder he is trying to salvage something now, by being the special envoy for the middle-east.

The one that led America to war that has so far claimed 200,000 lives, destroyed the livelihoods of millions others and completely nullified Colin Powell's legacy. I remember sitting in front of the T.V, watching this speech and thinking to myself 'Oh my God, they have so much evidence...
