The Outsider
HaHa HaHa..... All of us left India to make more $$' date=' but if Dhoni makes MORE $$ than us while staying in India we doubt his commitment towards India. Ironic isn't it ?[/quote'] Please read post # 11. Link to comment
Holysmoke
That's called deliberate juxtaposition of apple and orange to malign someone's name.. FACT If parthi had payed nonstop cricket like Dhoni he too wud has asked for break.. IF Dhoni was in place of parthiv i.e with broken nose he too wud have continued keeping.. This event is nothign unprecedented.. Dhoni has given no signal for any speculation to the contrary.. exactly. Btw, still waiting for the source, Shwetabh. Link to comment
The Outsider
exactly. Btw, still waiting for the source, Shwetabh. One concern for Chennai is the fitness of their captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who is nursing a finger injury. He is expected to play but Parthiv Patel might continue to keep wickets. http://content-www.cricinfo.com/ipl/content/story/351764.html Link to comment
sandtest
^^ Thanks for posting the link. You have obviously decided to make your point regarding Dhoni previously by comparing him with history of Kapil, Kumble and Sachin playing test despite injury. fair enogh! Two questions which pop-up -- (1) Was such a big money IPL in offerring during that era??...How we can say with confidence that Kapil, Kumble in their prime would never succumb to a better pay for minimum work lure which IPL now offers since this concept was totally beyond anyone's imagination during that time? What we can prove with this futile comparison then? (2) can Dhoni get some rope, considering that he has lead India in inaguaral T20 world cup vistory, has a good record of team leadership and personal integrity, moreover, this is the first time that he skipped a test series, may be it was due to genuine reasons of fatigue?? Should we wait for at least another case before labelling him? PS: I am not a Dhoni fan. Link to comment
