I have seen clips of WG Grace batting and Jack Hobbs. 2 great legends, seeing them bat was hysterical, they made Devon Malcolmn look class! Bradman played in a non competitive era. No cricket comunity like now with great players from world over. He was never tested in subcontinenet or Windies etc. He only had to play against england. Seen videos of him batting, he would average single digits in modern era. All credit to Bradman, legend and great in his era! But to compare him to Sachin and the greats over last 30 years is folly! Sachin is the greatest!

Spinners like murali and warne. Besides that its very hard to pick who woud be better

Sachin is the greatest! Vatz, Sachin HIMSELF said that he is nowhere as good as Bradman. ANd when it comes to matters of cricket, Sachin's opinions mean a helluva lot more than a one-eyed jingoistic fan's. Bradman's the best because he dominated whereever he played, whomever he played, day in day out, without fail. And your whole 'he didnt face quality bowlers' contention falls flat by the simple fact that Bradman batted on FAR harder pitches than Sachin. I hope you realize that its the PITCH AND THE BOWLING that makes the batsman do all the work...Sehwag on a square turning Mumbai is far harder to face than a Kumble on a pancake flat Antigua. Plus if Bradman's times were so easy, how come no one else dominated like he did...in his time too there were 1 or 2 players averaging 50+ with the bat....just like today..but NOBODY averaged even 60+, let alone 99...Bradman is the best there ever was as far as batsmanship goes...and no amount of indian pride will change that fact.
