DomainK
now this list has AFRIDI at 31. YES' date=' AFRIDI!!!!!!!!!!!!! Therefore, whatever methodology was used to derive this list, its completely flawed UNLESS you guys are willing to accept that AFRIDI indeed deserves the 31st place. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:[/quote'] Where did you find Afridi at 31? Its a list of 30 batsmen. Link to comment

Holysmoke
yes, crap list. Hussey at 39, Yuvraj at 37, and afridi at 31. Its a testament to the gulf between SRT and King Viv that they top even the crap lists. Link to comment
Predator_05
Tendulkar would top any list compiled for "best ever ODI batsman" - no matter what statistical criteria is applied. Prove me wrong Link to comment
fineleg
Another of the famous Indian "contribution" to the world thanks to the recent IT success. Dissecting cricket with Intel processors. In the list compiled Viv Richards has an adjusted strike rate of 24.60(out of possible 25) while Kapil Dev has 24.21. This when the actual SR of Viv was 90 and Kapil's 95. So after adjusting strike rates Kapil Dev falls behind Viv. Yeah sure I will buy that. Viv and SRT are from different eras. Stupid to say that SRT >> Viv or vice versa. If SRT is #1 in this era, Viv is #1 of his era. You cannot say who is better amongst the two. Arbitrary ranking system employed. Link to comment
MalikBrother
Afridi at 31? That's crazy. Who has listed Afridi at 31? . Link to comment
h4te
Why are some important ppl like Sunil Gavaskar' date=' Venkatesh Prasad, Harvinder Singh, Venkatapathy Raju, SS Das, not figuring in this list?[/quote'] lol wut? Link to comment

Thats true ... but I think most cricket experts would agree that Sachin and Viv are the best 2 ever in ODIs by a long way. Link to comment
