Parth Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Re: Why did we lose? (time to analyse) Ok Guys you have it all wrong, Our Bowling was fine, if we had a bigger total we could have had a hope, the pitch was great to bat on in the second half. Our Fielding always has been our failure or our downside, so we caanot complain. Atleast we didnt drop loolypops Our Batting, Ganguly, Yuvrag are not to blaim, the men to blaim are the following: Sehwag- The biggest idiot the world has ever seen Uthappa- Way to cocky, thinks he can do everything Dravid- A useless captain Tendulkar- The most overated player in the entire world. Dhoni- A batsmen who shold be playing in the playground not in Internatiopnal cricket
Dhondy Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Re: Why did we lose? (time to analyse) Overconfidence...Complacency.... Don't think so, PK. Don't be suckered into believing that for a moment. That's what the Indian players would have you believe. It was completely the reverse. Watching the dismissals on the highlights package, you could see that their confidence drained away like moisture in the desert sand once they saw the early movement & bounce in the pitch. From that point, only one thought dominated their thinking- terror at the prospect of of defeat. Nothing to do with complacency or overconfidence.
Sooda Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Re: Why did we lose? (time to analyse) The 'running between wickets' was appalling.
head coach Posted March 18, 2007 Author Posted March 18, 2007 Re: Why did we lose? (time to analyse) Gangully and Yuvaraj recovered the innings after the early 4 loses but then we collapsed like a deck of card. If Yuvaraj and Dhoni stayed a little bit more then the story would have been different. Hey both are making lot of money by marketing deals. I guess thats all they want
Mandrake Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Re: Why did we lose? (time to analyse) you said it Dhondy " terror at the prospect of of defeat" it was nothing else but that...right from Dravid's pre match bytes to the body language of the team....they spent way too much time trying to ensure they dont lose and we all know what happens from such situations....
yoda Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Re: Why did we lose? (time to analyse) negative batting.
King Tendulkar Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Re: Why did we lose? (time to analyse) We were just unlucky
Bumper Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Re: Why did we lose? (time to analyse) Terror at the prospect of defeat But what have we won tho, to be terrified of defeat ? We always lose everything that matters.
