amits
rohit sharma is a overrated & overhyped cricketer. he flopped continuosly this year in odis after that 70 v sl in canberra in the cb series. his avg after that match has been <20 in odis & his overall career avg in odis is also poor. also, rohit sharma can never seem to score more than 20 in any innings. rohit sharma hits just 1-2 good looking 4s & then gets out. even ishant sharma & munaf patel seem to be better batsmen than rohit sharma. as for the 105 which he scored against aus, it was a part of aussie mind games. they know that rohit sharma is a highly overrated & overhyped cricketer & they allowed him to hit a free 100 in a warm-up match so that rohit sharma could make the xi & they can get a walking wicket in the indian team. rohit sharma, was not able to do anything special in the a team triangular series as well and its unfair that a proven failure like rohit sharma is getting too many chances when even ishant sharma & munaf patel seem to be better batsmen than rohit sharma Link to comment

Sharma, i still agree that there are far better players waiting on the bench than Sharma.. R.Sharma is indeed overhyped .. he is just an average player... in his 100 recently against Aussies, he was dropped twice and was beaten endless times during his first 30 balls.. as i said earlier, Raina & Y.Pathan deserves more chance than him Link to comment

amits
as for the ishant sharma-rohit sharma comparison. ishant sharma has hit some 4s in test matches which would make even a top order batsman proud. u can go check the video of his 23* which he scored earlier this year against aus which contained some glorious 4s. and the munaf patel-rohit sharma comparision comes due to the fact that munaf patel is capable of hitting huge 6s & he has hit some huge 6s in some intl & domestic matches Link to comment
