It can only go up from here if Obama wins, though. I don't expect him to solve the IRAQ and Afghanistan war crises, but I do expect him to use diplomacy more than rhetoric/sabre rattling. He is educated and aware of the issues. P.S.: I'd vote for Stephen Colbert. Stephen Colbert for President. If Palin had done so, this board would be foaming at the mouth. Now, we're just drooling. For what it's worth, Palin ain't all that in the pulchritude department. At one point in her life - maybe. Not anymore. Believe me i am not too pleased with Obama's change of stance on this offshore drilling business... but the question here is that Palin is recommending drilling for oil locally, in Alaska, where well there is local support for it, since the residents are all dependent upon the oil economy and love those welfare kickbacks... Palin states that local oil resources are adequate for american consumption, which they are far from... She is not acknowledging that more oil production is not the solution, which incidentally McCain is acknowledging. It is this inherent lack of understanding that we are trivializing here.
