Uthappa/Ganguly had a great outing together in one of the recent ODI series and he inserts Sehwag back the very next game as the opener. Expect him to come up with more absurd combinations to see us out of this round. - Did not pick established minnow basher Irfan Pathan for the most important minnow game of this cup - Insisted on keeping motu sehwag in the lineup even after he failed more times than ghazni - Instead of taking pride in the excellent warmups and using them to motivate his players, brushed them aside and claimed the team is worried after doing well in the warmups - Gave too much respect to the Banglas which indirectly resulted him he and ganguly facking around at 3- RPO forever If we fail against Lanka, he should do the honorable thing and resign immediately upon arrival home. Who will replace him? No, not Ganguly. Not Sehwag. Not SRT. Probably Yuvraj. Not sold on him. But he can't do any worse. Link to comment

Only thing I differ with him Yoda on is that Ganguly should be given charge for a short period of time...say till start of 2007-08 season...to lead the team and also GROOM Yuvraj as his successor... Of course Yuvvy would then be the vice captain... This arrangement should be for Tests and ODIs... Link to comment

Also he seems to enjoy his new role and looks to be in the best of form. Don't tinker his cricket and leave him alone. If Yuvi is the only next choice then well and good. BTW leave the vice captaincy to a young one and not someone like Tendulkar that may retire in a year or two. Link to comment
