But, most definitely, this is a best commentary panel for a home series in a long time, for the sole fact that it doesnt have Mr.I-am-good-at-stating-the-obvious in it.

Last time I saw a better one for a home series was in 2001 against Aussies itself. Television rights were with DD that time and Channel Nine team was taking care of the production..they had Ian Chappel,Tony Greig,Ravi Shastri,Sanjay Manjrekar and late David Hookes in the panel.
