King Tendulkar Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Has a great chance to win match. Needs to bowl india out. But is worried about over rate and himslf getting banned for 1st test against NZ. So bowls Hussey. How selfish. Only concerned about him getting 1 test ban and not concerned about his team winning. What a selfish individual
King Tendulkar Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 I think he is close to the end as captain. The knives have been out in oz media against him. This will send some for the jugular.
DomainK Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 If you are questioning his integrity, you shouldn't be standing here.
sm332 Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 yeah this should not sit well with anyone who cares abt Oz cricket
King Tendulkar Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 If you are questioning his integrity' date=' you shouldn't be standing here.[/quote'] :haha:
Rajiv Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I am worried abt siva, alan border might just murder him
Rajiv Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I think he is close to the end as captain. The knives have been out in oz media against him. This will send some for the jugular. ..well, u mean the OZ media will leave him for what he is doing now?
Rajiv Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 On the note of Captaincy, I think Hussey would make a good captain
DomainK Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 On the note of Captaincy' date=' I think Hussey would make a good captain[/quote'] Yup....for Ponting, its "Hussy to phasi".
King Tendulkar Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 Ponting is more worried about making sure he is not banned for 1st test against NZ then winning this test. Especially after sachins run fest this series and his 40th ton. SELFISH PONTING:--D
DomainK Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Or may be Ponting is not bowling the faster bowlers becuase he does not want to create anymore footmarks outside the right hander's leg stump.
King Tendulkar Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 Or may be Ponting is not bowling the faster bowlers becuase he does not want to create anymore footmarks outside the right hander's leg stump. :hysterical::hysterical:
DomainK Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 :hysterical::hysterical: Imagine Dhoni setting another 8-1 field, this time on the leg side and get Mishra and Tendulkar to spin it out of the rough. Ponting will start sobbing on the field.
ssd123 Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 ponting has the best captaincy record both in tests and one dayers in the history of cricket by so far it isn't funny. His winning percentage is over double the next best.
DomainK Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 ponting has the best captaincy record both in tests and one dayers in the history of cricket by so far it isn't funny. His winning percentage is over double the next best. Thats a statement on team's abilities and not necessarily the captain's. A captain gets tested in difficult circumstances and with a team like that, you quite rarely run into any. Captain Ponting had been so far shielded by great players. Now that the team is facing the real difficult circumstances, captain Ponting is getting exposed. It was Ponting's poor captaincy that let go the grip on the first test. And today, its most idiotic piece of captaincy ever.
King Tendulkar Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 Thorpe " What was ponting doing, absolutley bizzare"
Dinx - the Jinx Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 How much history of cricket do u know? Who?
King Tendulkar Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 Even Charles Colville said " It was so atrange that it times gone by there would be mutterings of match fixing" Ponting is going to be hammered for this. The aussie press on his back already, he will get slaughtered. I will enjoy reading some of the oz press reports:--D
