If the ball is being changed because the old ball is unfit for play, then the old ball doesnt go in the box- it goes to the garbage bin. Therefore, after the decision is made to change the ball, you can do whatever the hell you want to the old ball - scratch it, chop it, bite it, eat it, hell, even stuff it up your pooper if you wish. Not ball tampering. KT, as usual, you have no case.
