piglet only wearing undergarments

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Suicide_watch_Cops_want_to_keep_Kasav_alive/articleshow/3798983.cms MUMBAI: Crime branch sleuths are taking extra precautions to ensure that Ajmal Amir Kasav, the terrorist arrested after the Mumbai attacks, does not commit suicide. Kasav, member of a 10-strong squad of terrorists who had come here to kill and die, has developed a suicidal tendency and keeps asking the cops to kill him. But the cops are doing their best to keep him alive. Kasav, arrested on November 26, is being kept in rooms which have no ceiling fans, beds or other objects that he may use to end his life. The cops are constantly changing his location too, to thwart attacks on him by members of his own group. "We frequently move him from one place to another to ensure no one knows his exact location," said a crime branch officer. The crime branch is also ensuring that every meal served to Kasav comes from a trusted source. In fact, he is allowed to eat only after officers themselves have eaten the food. Kasav is also under constant observation round the clock, at least one cop sits near him and keeps him engaged in conversation whenever he is awake. Though it sounds practically impossible, cops fear Kasav may commit suicide by holding his breath, an officer said. The cops are so conscious about Kasav's safety that they keep him with only his undergarment on, lest he tear his shirt and swallow the pieces to suffocate himself, revealed a crime branch officer. "They had come here with a mindset to kill people and die killing them. The terrorist arrested by us too has shown no eagerness to live," he said.

Mumbai's unique hindi patois causes confusion

More than a week after the arrest of a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist, taken alive during last week’s terror strike on Mumbai, the world’s media still cannot agree on his name. Muhammad Amin Kasab, Azam Amir Kasav and Azam Amir Kasab are just some of the names that have figured on print and television reports, much to the delight of Pakistani critics, who argue that the terrorist is a fiction invented by India. His name is in fact Mohammad Ajmal Amir, son of Mohammad Amir Iman, a resident of the village of Faridkot in the tehsil of Dipalpur in [Pakistan] Punjab’s Okara district. The confusion over Iman’s surname, investigators told The Hindu, stemmed from the fact that the Mumbai Police officers who first questioned him were Marathi speakers, unable to communicate with the south Punjab resident. While recording Iman’s particulars — his name, address, family details and, in line with standard Indian practice, caste — the officers spoke to the arrested terrorist in Mumbai’s unique Hindi patois. Iman, mumbling in pain owing to the injuries he had sustained, correctly answered the question about his caste, replying that he hailed from the Kasai (butcher) community. The Marathi-speaking Mumbai Police officers recorded this as Kasav or Kasab, a name unknown in Pakistan or, for that matter, in Maharashtra. One junior policeman involved in Iman’s early questioning described the process as a little comical. He said: “Here we were talking to the most important suspect we had ever questioned, but we couldn’t understand half of what he was saying and he couldn’t understand us!” As the records made their way up the Mumbai Police hierarchy, the misspelt caste name, often used by the media in India as a surname, set in concrete. Later, Hindi-speaking officers who understood that Kasav was not a name known in north India, took it to be Kamaal, further adding to the confusion. It was only when native Hindi and Punjabi-speaking officers interrogated Iman that the error was corrected. Since The Hindu broke details of Iman’s background, news organisations, including the Press Trust of India, Rediff.com, ABC News and The Economist have set the record straight. Others, however, continue to use the misconstrued, incorrect, surname.

MUMBAI: The lone terrorist captured in the November 26-28 terror strikes here, Ajmal Amir Kasav, has told the police that he wants to write a letter to his parents in Pakistan saying he was "misled" by the terrorist group, a senior police officer said on Monday. "He (Ajmal) expressed his desire to write a letter to his parents. He wants to write the letter saying he was misled by the group," Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rakesh Maria said. "Ajmal told us this two days ago and we are examining it," he said. Ajmal, who reportedly hails from Pakistan's Punjab province, was among the group of 10 terrorists who killed 183 people during the multiple attacks. While Ajmal, who is reportedly in early twenties, was nabbed near Girgaum Chowpatty, the nine others were killed by security forces. Police officers said this was Ajmal's first operation while some of the others had participated in terror attacks earlier. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Terrorists_misled_me_Kasav_wants_to_tell_parents_in_Pak/articleshow/3810218.cms

Newsflash: In order to put the brave front under pressure from UPA (which is against POTA and has been dronign on lines that we do not need any special law to tackle terror, although Moily a congress leader committee report disagrees) maha govt which was swift on throwing MCOCA on sadhvi has decided not to use MCOCA in this case.. ( Please these mixed messages tells me this too shall pass and pretty soon do-nothing-policy wil be rstored all that big talk in parliament for ahcnage aside) So for all practical purposes any admission of association to pakistan or otherwise gained under police custody is null and void. Our court itself doesn't buy that Qasab is pakistani as of today unless and until this piglet says the same thing in court.

Ajmal Kasab is a pawn (not a victim per se, but certainly a pawn) in a deadly game. A petty thief who got sucked into this life by sheer desperation. The real "piglets" or whatever other term we'd like to come up with - the ones who are really pulling the strings - are holed up in luxury somewhere.

Piglet may appear on live TV to tell his story ----- http://www.dnaindia.com/report.asp?newsid=1216345 Breaking news: Ajmal may tell his tale on TV Baljeet Parmar Wednesday, December 24, 2008 01:16 IST If all goes well, the world may soon get to see Mohammed Ajmal Amir live on television, narrating details of his role in the Mumbai terror attacks. According to a source, a decision to present Ajmal on TV was taken at a high-level meeting attended by senior intelligence and Union home ministry officials in New Delhi on Tuesday. The source said this bold gambit was being planned to counter the stubborn denials of the Pakistani establishment about Ajmal’s nationality. “We have done everything to prove his nationality, but the Pakistanis are in denial mode. We provided proof of his place of birth, his parental home, his training schedules, mentors and co-conspirators, but the other side says that is not enough,” said a senior intelligence officer. “We then submitted a letter written by Ajmal himself, that too in Urdu, the language he knows, to the Pakistan government, but we are yet to receive a response. If this option too fails to move the Pakistanis, we have only one channel open to us and that is producing Kasab live on TV channels across the world.” The officer said Indian agencies already possess recorded confessions of Ajmal, but his appearance on TV may give the authorities the opportunity to present more details to nail the Pakistani lies. The source said the entire conversation will have English transcripts running on the screen so that the entire world can listen to the terrorist’s revelations. Maharashtra’s director-general of police (housing) SS Virk believes that presenting Ajmal on TV would work in India’s favour. “When the world watches him telling the name of his village, his relatives, mentors, and other minute details like what his younger sister used to like or dislike, it will not only look authentic but will move audiences to form public opinion in India’s favour,” Virk said
:two_thumbs_up::two_thumbs_up: I hope this happens. That would be slap on the face of Pakistan:whack::whack::ahhhhh::ahhhhh:

Is this a Bollywood movie or what? Why are our officials doing this? Get the info from the piglet, as much as you can and then shoot him. No way Pak is going to "agree" - so dont waste your time. And Intl countries will forget things and move on. India has to take the necessary steps without Intl help.
