Lurker Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Although I did like the movie, or series if you will, on the whole I was also left disappointed. The series dealt mostly with Saddam's pshycology and little with his actual actions, specially his coming to power, his dealings with USA during Iran-Iraq war etc. It concentrated on the man, and often his family. To an extent I can see why it would be thus considering the subject itself was House of Saddam, but it largely left out detailing the life of a man who could well have been the one force that could have stood up to rabid Wahabism spreading through the Muslim world today.
