I specifically asked for a study, which means it is verified with proper double blinded tests etc etc.

Who takes studies of these idiots seriously.. Torture works ask any police officer who has done an investigation of any sort..

That is not true, catching criminals is only half of the story, eliciting confessions is the other half. and the us police force manages to do that very effectively without resorting to torture of any kind.
