Its not a disaster as it is made out to be.. i feel there are few people who are threatened by the super success of Akki in last 2-3 years.. His every movie has been a SUPER HIT.. his clout in bollywood was increasing with every HIT he delivered... CC2C did a business of 45 crores in first 3 days..only 3 movies have collected more than it in 3 days of business.. and suddenly...one average movie....not even a FLOP...and critics to No-name wannabe( shekhar suman) and others..pounce on him as if he committed a Day Light Murder... Many flop films have come and gone...DRONA, LOVE STORY 2050..etc etc... But one average film by Akki and whole media is against him... i am sure some PR company is working behind all this....

And he is not the king....Aamir, Sallu, SRK have been giving hits for nearly 2 decades and HR for nearly a decade while Akki has only been big since 05. Also he's doing the same films over and over again, as Abraham Lincoln said, u cant keeep fooling people. The media have been against Sallu and other actors, then there's no commotion, but when facts are being shown, suddenly people have problems.

More power to Akki-Hritik-Abhishek et al. U r saying u dont like families dominating Hindi Cinema, well the only reason AB jr gets films is because of his father. A very average actor, nothing in front of Hrithik or Aamir. Yes he was good in Yuva and Guru but crap in most others. And Akki, I dont mind if he does decent films, but he does the same crap over and over again.

Worst he appears on every second news channel yapping about politics sikoolarism yada yada, as if his film torture is not enough. I haven't praised abhishek or Hritik or anyone specifically, heck, I have lost any expectation from modern day Hindi cinema long back, all I want is some good space for competition even when it's cr@ppy filmi race which is often monopolised by Khans and Akhtars and Farahs added with Karan Johars mindless garbage.

Not defending akki here...I agree he's crap and so are SRK and salman..

He acts with sincerity, which is awesome. Shahrukh does too but his movies are pretty terrible because unlike AK's films they pretend to be something they're not. Aamir is amazing I think. The less said about Salman, the better.

SRK's movies are just the opposite. He just fills the screen with his massive persona. Akshay is less intrusive.

There... in your question lies the answer (maybe)...:giggle::giggle: Anyway, coming back to the topic... I stopped expecting anything from Indian cinema a long time ago. The overall quality of the movies, especially songs and music has gone down like anything. Today's musicians and singers (baring a very very.. few) are piss poor copy cats. They have absolutely no talent, and the less said about their creativity, the better it is. Now coming to the actors.... Askhay is a lot better than SRK, Sallu. SRK of 90's used to be good, but now he is just a monotonous actor and does not believe in changing his style based on the role he is performing. He will look and feel the same if he is ashoka or some tapori or journalist... his overall behavior pretty much remains the same.i Sallu was always crap... zero talent and zero timing. His movies usually leaves bad taste. I stopped watching him after HAHK. maybe watched one or two after that (don't remember... or rather don't want to remember) but even in HAHK he was pretty poor. Hrithik has style especially in dance and action, his timing in those aspect are good but his dialogue delivery is pretty poor. his timing for dialogue is pretty poor. and at times with poor directors he is absolutely piss poor. He doesn't seem to be the fella that could carry the movie on his acting alone... like AB, AK, Kamal Hasan & SRK (of 90s). Abhishek is decent with an angry young man type role(Dhoom type movies), but doesn't have a lot of variety in his acting. He should really learn from his father about the voice variation that AB used to do while doing different roles. for eg.. Don... the coolness and smoothness of Don is so different from the bumbling and pan eating Vijay.. Anyway, nowadays i just look for entertainment value and jokes in Hind cinema. But time and again i get disappointed... I do not have the heart to get disappointed again with CC2C...

The script was pretty weak, no interesting turns and pretty predictable. And anyway, all the scenes were copied from Hollywood... But again, it wasn't his acting that made these movies bearable... it was his style. And I have already said that his style is pretty good... its just that when he speaks I find him pretty unconvincing. Although he did give a decent performance in JA, but JA was also a fictional movie than an historical one but one decent performance in a plethora of flops doesn't count...

SIK was crap and CC2C was a torture , the worst part is that i saw both in theaters coz i am a huge akki fan.@ dada no he didnt just endorse AB , in fact he plays smart all the time.Recently he refused to accept publics choice most popular award coz he said that aamir deserved it more than him for ghajini .... so he pretty much manipulates things to get more attention .Btw SRKS swades and CDI were relaly good.
