Lurker Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 The video shows both the upside and the downside of Indian culture. Upside is the myriad of languages, sub-cultures that exists in India and multitude of talents around it. The downside is that outside the sub-culture noone understands it. The stage show, or song if you will, emanated from Bengali adda culture. The song itself is risque and most Bengali bhadralok will most likely be aghast at it. However it does provide comic releif and the artist himself is a fantastic performer. Even though the song itself has little scope for dancing he does manage some funny movies complete with static face scenes.
