THX_1138 Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 You can either engage them in similar banter and mind games, by being critical of their work ethic is a very nonchalant manner. now this works at my work place since we are all competing with each other, but it might have disastrous results in a work place where coordination is the need of the hour. i recommend you modify your approach to meet the 'expected' requirement at your work place. why buck the trend? its not as if you are being rewarded for your efforts? you might as well be miserable at work, and if you have nothing to do at work, please for the love of god, do not chat! do not im, do not check personal email. i work in a collegiate setting, that that activity is frowned upon even here!
cochise Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 why buck the trend? What better thing is there to do? Always buck the trend.
