Re: Points Table - I am confused Every team has played a match against the other team from their group that made it to the Super 8s. If they won, they got 2 points. If not, they got 0.

No. points against the opposition which has proceeded to Super 8 is carried forward. So every team has 7 meaningful matches in the WC as far as points are concerned--one in the group stage and 6 in super 8.
